- They asked/pleaded/begged Lenny to share/give them some/split them equally.
- At/Firstly/Finally, Lenny refused/said no/ignored them. He didn't/wouldn't/failed to understand/comprehend/grasp why they wanted his mangoes.

Once upon an time, there was an tiny turtle named Shelly. Shelly was very small and always thought lonely. She longed to have a big friend to play with. One day, while exploring in the forest, Shelly came an enormous elephant named Ellie. Ellie was kind and appreciated making new friends.
Shelly felt shy at first, but Ellie made Shelly some of her tasty fruit. Soon, they started to play together. They ran in the river and shared stories.
Shelly was so happy to have made such a big friend. Ellie taught Shelly to to be brave, and Shelly taught Ellie about to be kind. They became the best of friends, proving that even differences in size, friendships can thrive.

Once upon a day, young Clara was playing in her yard. She spotted a white cat with blue eyes peering at her from behind a flowerbed. The cat seemed very interested, and Clara felt an instant bond with it.
